Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health has named Payam Saadai, MD, chief of the division of pediatric general, thoracic and fetal surgery.
Dr. Saadai also serves as director of the Pediatric Colorectal Center and leads the UC Davis Fetal Care and Treatment Center, according to an Aug. 5 news release from UC Davis Health.
He first joined UC Davis Health in 2011 as the inaugural research fellow in the Center for Surgical Bioengineering and returned in 2016 after completing his surgical training and specialty fellowship training at New York City-based Mount Sinai and Columbus, Ohio-based Nationwide Children’s Hospital, respectively.
