Scott MacDonald, MD, has been named chief health information officer of Sacramento, Calif.-based UC Davis Health.
In this role, Dr. MacDonald will be responsible for efforts in health information technology, clinical informatics and digital innovation, according to a July 21 LinkedIn post from the health system.
Previously, he served as EHR medical director at UC Davis Health, according to his LinkedIn. He joined the health system in 2004.
