Dr. Jablonover, currently Kernan’s vice president of medical affairs and chief medical officer, replaces James E. Ross, Kernan’s CEO since 1994, who is assuming the presidency of the system’s Chester River Health System in Chestertown, Md., which includes a 57-bed hospital.
Mr. Ross succeeds Jeffrey Johnson, who will become the system’s vice president of corporate planning for the University of Maryland Medical System.
