Trinity exec joins RWJBarnabas Health

West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health appointed Thomas Burke chief administrative officer for Clara Maass Medical Center, effective Feb. 24.

Mr. Burke’s career includes 25 years of operational and clinical leadership experience in large matrixed and academic health care systems. Most recently, he served as president of the Hartford market at Trinity Health of New England

Before Trinity Health of New England, Mr. Burke served in various operational leadership roles at organizations such as Los Angeles-based Prospect Medical Holdings, Waterbury (Conn.) Hospital and Langhorne, Pa.-based Saint Mary Medical Center, part of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic.

Mr. Burke is a registered pharmacist in Pennsylvania and Connecticut and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
