Thomas Health System CEO to retire after 21 years

After 21 years of leadership, South Charleston, W.V.-based Thomas Health System president and CEO, Stephen P. Dexter, will retire July 31, according to Charleston Daily Mail.

Mr. Dexter will remain with Thomas Health System as president of TMH Services, a subsidiary of Thomas Health System, through January 2017, according to the report.

Dan Lauffer, executive vice president and COO of Thomas Health System, will succeed Mr. Dexter.
