Tennessee’s Erlanger CEO Jim Brexler Announces Retirement Plans

Jim Brexler, CEO of Erlanger Health System in Chattanooga, Tenn., has announced his plans to retire within the next few weeks.

Mr. Brexler has served at the helm of the health system for the past eight years. With the exception of an OIG settlement of $40 million, the health system achieved a positive operating income throughout Mr. Brexler’s tenure.
