Tenet promotes Cristina Jimenez to Coral Gables Hospital CEO: 4 notes

Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. appointed Cristina Jimenez CEO of Coral Gables (Fla.) Hospital, according to the South Florida Business Journal.

1. Ms. Jimenez most recently served as COO of the hospital.

2. She has been employed by Coral Gables Hospital for more than 30 years.

3. She succeeds Patrick Downes, who left to take on a new role at a South Carolina-based Tenet hospital.

4. Coral Gables Hospital, a 245-bed facility, was the first hospital in the Miami-Dade region to earn both total hip and total knee replacement certification from The Joint Commission.
