John Whitlock has resigned as CEO of MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham, Mass., part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare.

He was named MetroWest’s permanent CEO in July 2023 after serving in the role on an interim basis.

“We remain grateful for John’s contributions during his tenure with our organization,” the spokesperson said.

George Rizzuto has been named interim CEO, the spokesperson confirmed. He previously served as CEO of West Boca Medical Center in Boca Raton, Fla., since 2019, according to his LinkedIn profile.
