Tenet CFO Cancelmi to stay on in part-time role

Retiring Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare's CFO, Dan Cancelmi, is ending his full-time role at the for-profit system Dec. 31.

But Mr. Cancelmi is now also planning to stay on in a part-time role at the 61-hospital system until April 2025 as Tenet transitions its new full-time CFO, Sun Park, into Mr. Cancelmi's current role.

Mr. Cancelmi, a Tenet veteran of 24 years, will receive a $750 weekly salary and full benefits until the age of 65, according to an Aug. 11 filing from the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Tenet reported net income of $123 million in the second quarter of 2023.
