Mike Ditoro, PharmD, has been appointed CEO of Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, Calif., NBC Palm Springs reported April 29.
Dr. Ditoro joined the hospital in 2018 as COO and became chief administrative officer in 2022.
He succeeds Michele Finney, who will continue to serve as group CEO of Desert Care Network, which comprises Desert Regional, Hi-Desert Medical Center in Joshua Tree, Calif., and JFK Memorial Hospital in Indio, Calif.
Desert Care Network is part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare and operates a level 1 trauma center at Desert Regional.
