Month-Long Strike Ends at Philadelphia’s Temple University Hospital

Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia has reached an agreement with its 1,500 nurses and allied health professionals, ending a 28-day strike, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.

The new contract, which expires in Oct. 2013, includes wage increases and some tuition reimbursement for dependents, according to the report.

If employees approve the agreed-upon contract, they will return to work at 7 p.m. Friday.
