Sunnyside Community Hospital in Washington Names Bob Brendgard Interim CEO

Sunnyside (Wash.) Community Hospital has named Bob Brendgard as interim CEO after the retirement of CEO Jon Smiley, according to a Yakima Herald-Republic report.

Mr. Brendgard served as the Sunnyside CEO from 1982 to 1989 before joining HealthTech Management Services in Franklin, Tenn., a contractor of hospital administrative services. He recruited Mr. Smiley as CEO 20 years ago.
