Stormont Vail Health appoints chief compliance officer: 4 notes

Topeka, Kan.-based Stormont Vail Health hired Christine Hogan-Newgren as chief compliance officer.

1. Ms. Hogan-Newgren most recently served as the chief compliance officer and chief audit executive of Denver-based University of Colorado Health.

2. Her previous roles include serving as vice president and chief compliance officer at Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health; and vice president of corporate compliance and audit services/system integrity at Duluth, Minn.-based Benedictine Health System.

3. She is a fellow of the Healthcare Financial Management Association.

4. She holds a master of science degree in management from Fort Collins-based Colorado State University.
