Stanford Medicine names chief of child neurology

Stanford (Calif.) Medicine Children’s Health appointed William Gallentine, DO, division chief of child neurology.

Dr. Gallentine has served as interim chief of the division since 2023 and is known for his work in pediatric epilepsy, according to a Dec. 12 system news release. 

Previously, he worked as a faculty of pediatric epileptologist at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University before joining Stanford Medicine in 2018.
