Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley names CEO

Misty Jones, MSN, RN, was appointed president and CEO of Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, effective June 9, according to a health system news release shared with Becker’s.

Ms. Jones brings more than two decades of clinical and leadership experience in healthcare to the role, according to the release.

She will join Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley from SSM Health, where she served as regional vice president of operations for St. Louis before becoming COO of St. Mary’s Hospital and SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital.

Ms. Jones succeeds Rick Shumway, who stepped down in January to become executive vice president and COO of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Stanford Health Care.

Stanford Health Care Tri-Valley, based in Pleasanton, is part of Stanford Health Care.
