St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, Calif., hired Scott F. Rusk, MD, to serve as CMO.

1. Most recently, Dr. Rusk served as vice president of medical affairs and CMO at Mercy Health System of Maine (Portland).
2. He previously served as medical director of hospital medicine and care management at Portsmouth (N.H.) Regional Hospital.
3. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians.
