Stanford Hospital CIO Carolyn Byerly Steps Down

Carolyn Byerly, chief information officer of Stanford (Calif.) Hospital & Clinics, has stepped down and started a consulting firm, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.

According to the report, Pravene Nath, MD, is serving as the interim CIO in addition to his roles as chief medical information officer and an assistant clinical professor.
