1. Dr. Klein is currently president and CEO of St. Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco. He will continue in that position in addition in his new role.
2. He was previously president of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
3. Dr. Klein practiced general surgery 14 years before taking on administrative roles full time.
4. In addition to his medical training, he holds an MBA from the University of California-Irvine.
