Seton Medical Center Names Joanne Allen CEO

Joanne Allen has been named president and CEO of Daly City, Calif.-based Seton Medical Center, part of Los Altos Hills, Calif.-based Daughters of Charity Health System, according to a San Francisco Business Times report.

Ms. Allen previously served as CEO of Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy, Calif., another DCHS hospital. She will take on her new role at Seton Medical Center April 2, according to the report.

Ms. Allen is replacing interim CEO James Schuessler. Mr. Schuessler has served as the hospital’s interim CEO since April 2012, according to the San Francisco Business Times.
