Norfolk, Va.-based Sentara Health has promoted two leaders within its cybersecurity organization.
Zishan Siddiqui, previously chief information security officer, was promoted to senior vice president and chief information security officer. Sentara said the expanded role reflects the growing responsibility of protecting the health system’s technology environment as cyberthreats become more frequent and sophisticated.
Thuy Tran-Korns, previously deputy chief information security officer, was promoted to vice president and deputy chief information security officer, according to a Sept. 22 news release.
In the expanded role, Ms. Tran-Korns will serve as a strategic partner to Mr. Siddiqui and provide operational leadership for cybersecurity initiatives across the health system. She will also help execute Sentara’s cybersecurity strategy and integrate security priorities across business and technology operations.
Both promotions are effective immediately.
