Louisville, Ky.-based ScionHealth has tapped a “boomerang” leader to oversee operations for 20 of its hospitals.
Adam Darvish was appointed senior vice president of specialty hospital operations for the West Region of ScionHealth’s long-term acute care hospital network. He will oversee strategic and business operations for 20 long-term acute care Kindred Hospitals across California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Washington and El Paso, Texas, according to a June 22 health system news release.
Mr. Darvish returns to Kindred Hospitals after previously serving in multiple senior leadership roles across the legacy Kindred Healthcare organization. Mr. Darvish brings more than 25 years of executive healthcare leadership experience, including extensive experience on the West Coast.
He most recently served as COO of Alhambra, Calif.-based AHMC Healthcare, according to his LinkedIn profile. He previously spent 23 years with Kindred Healthcare, most recently as senior vice president of physician network development from 2016 to 2021.
ScionHealth operates in 23 states through a network of 63 specialty hospitals and six community hospitals across five markets.
