Sanford Health Bemidji (Minn.) named Joseph Corser, MD, interim chief medical officer, effective June 1.
Dr. Corser previously served as medical director of the Bemidji Ambulance Service for more than 20 years, and has played a key role in developing the hospital’s hospitalist program, recovery medicine clinic and trauma program, according to a June 2 system news release.
He succeeds Daniel Hoody, MD, who became chief medical officer at Hennepin Health.
