San Jose, Calif., Hospital Names New CEO

Good Samaritan Hospital in San Jose, Calif., has named Paul Beaupré, MD, a board-certified anesthesiologist, as its new CEO, effective Jan. 1, according to a report by the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.

Dr. Beaupré currently serves as the hospital’s COO. He will succeed Bill Piché, who is retiring, according to the report.

Dr. Beaupré plans to develop the hospital’s oncology, spine and joint replacement service lines while emphasizing its already strong cardiac, stroke and high-risk maternity and neonatal services, according to the report.
