Rowan Medical Center President Dari Caldwell transitions to role in Novant Health's foundation

Dari Caldwell has left the president role at Novant Health's Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, N.C., according to a Salisbury Post report.

Ms. Caldwell left the role in June and has transitioned into her new role as vice president at Novant Health Foundation. She told the Salisbury Post that she now hopes to spend more time with her family as a result of a more flexible schedule.

Ms. Caldwell has worked at Winston Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health since 2007 and joined Rowan Medical Center in 2010. She has 35 years of healthcare leadership experience.

During her tenure as president of Rowan Medical Center, the hospital established a breast health center, opened a geriatric psychiatry unit and built a hospice facility.

In 2016, the state honored Ms. Caldwell with the Order of the Long Leaf Pine Award for "extraordinary service to the state."
