Mr. Jones will succeed Steven I. Finkel, who announced his retirement as senior vice president, CFO and treasurer last week after 32 years at the hospital.
Mr. Jones has served as CFO for USC University Hospital/USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center in Angeles; Louis A. Weiss Memorial Hospital, University of Chicago Hospitals in Chicago; San Gabriel (Calif.) Valley Medical Center; Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans; and University Hospital of Arkansas in Little Rock.
