Remedy Partners names EVP of commercial business lines: 3 things to know

Remedy Partners, a Darien, Conn.-based bundled payment company, named Poonam Alaigh, MD, executive vice president of commercial business lines.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Alaigh.

1. In her role, she will “help lead the company’s ongoing diversification into new lines of business, serving commercial insurers and self-funded employers,” according to Remedy.

2. Previously, she was acting under secretary for health at the Department of Veterans Affairs.

3. Dr. Alaigh also co-founded the Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Accountable Care Organization, which includes more than 2,500 physician participants, and was a former commissioner of the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services.
