Mr. Herman most recently served as vice president of operations of Summerville (S.C.) Medical Center, part of Charleston, S.C.-based Trident Health System.
In his new role, he will be responsible for developing collaboration among clinical departments, divisions, medical staff leadership and other affiliated services to promote an integrated approach to care.
