Four notes:
1. Dr. Bhatia previously served as Prime’s vice president of clinical transformation and chair of the Prime Healthcare Foundation.
2. During her tenure as chair of Prime Healthcare Foundation, a public charity that owns 15 of Prime’s 45 hospitals, the organization expanded to four states.
3. A fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Bhatia also holds a master’s in medical management from Los Angeles-based USC Marshall School of Business.
4. In her new role, Dr. Bhatia will develop and implement strategic clinical initiatives.
