Delaware’s Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children Names CEO

Kevin B. Churchwell, MD, has been named CEO of Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Del., according to a hospital news release.

Dr. Churchwell will also serve as a Nemours senior vice president. He brings to Nemours a diverse clinical and leadership background, including his most recent position as CEO and executive director of the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, part of the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.

Dr. Churchwell will start work at Nemours on Dec. 1 and will have overall responsibility for Delaware Valley patient operations.
