Physician Named as New President of Arizona’s Verde Valley Medical Center

James J. Bleicher, MD, has been appointed the new president of Verde Valley Medical Center in Cottonwood, Ariz., according to a report in The Verde Independent.

The VVMC board unanimously voted to name Dr. Bleicher to the role. In June 2009, he was named as COO and chief medical officer of the hospital, according to the report. Dr. Bleicher has been at VVMC since 2007.

Dr. Bleicher is a board-certified in internal medicine and received a master’s degree in healthcare management from Harvard University in Boston, according to the report.
