Philadelphia’s Pennsylvania Hospital Names Executive Director

Penn Medicine has announced the appointed of R. Michael Buckley, MD, as executive director of Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia, according to a health system news release.

Dr. Buckley succeeds Kathleen Kinslow, who was appointed president and CEO of Philadelphia-based Aria Health System. Dr. Buckley currently serves as chair of internal medicine and CMO at Pennsylvania Hospital, where he has been practicing internal medicine and infectious disease for over 30 years.

Dr. Buckley will begin work as executive director on Nov. 1.
