Philadelphia-based Penn Medicine has named two new technology leaders to its C-suite, according to a news release shared May 7 with Becker’s.
Anna Schoenbaum, DNP, RN, will serve as chief applications officer, managing Penn Medicine’s IT applications across the clinical, research and business lines. She was previously vice president of applications and digital health.
Julian Mihai was appointed chief technology officer to oversee Penn Medicine’s technology platforms, cybersecurity, and technology implementation and delivery. He previously served as chief information security officer.
They will report to Mitchell Schnall, MD, PhD, who was named the health system’s inaugural senior vice president for data and technology solutions last year. His team also includes Srinath Adusumalli, MD, who was hired as chief health information officer in January, and Srinivas Sridhara, PhD, chief data and analytics officer since 2022.
