PeaceHealth names Dr. Michael Murphy CMO

Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth has named Michael Murphy, MD, as its first system-level CMO, effective June 15, according to a report from The Register-Guard.

Dr. Murphy is a board-certified OB-GYN who will join PeaceHealth from San Diego-based Sharp Grossmont Hospital, where he was CMO.

Dr. Murphy earned his MD from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He also has a law degree from Willamette University College of Law.
