Katrina Lambrecht assumed the newly created chief administrative officer role at Madison, Wis.-based UW Health on Jan. 29. 

The board of trustees at Houston, Mo.-based Texas County Memorial Hospital has unanimously — and suddenly — voted to remove CEO Stace Holland, marking its second CEO exit over a termination dispute in less than two years.

Tammy Jones, PhD, RN, is now the chief nursing officer of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences Health in Little Rock.

Pasadena, Texas-based HCA Houston Healthcare Southeast has named Musaddiq Waheed, MD, as chief medical officer. His appointment became effective Jan. 15. 

Hospital and health system executives continue to take second, dual positions within enterprises. These roles vary based on the organization's size and the individual's skill set, and there have been several announced in recent months.

Intermountain Health has named Elizabeth Withers, MD, chief medical officer of its Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, Colo. Her appointment became effective Feb. 5. 

University Medical Center New Orleans, part of LCMC Health, also based in New Orleans, has appointed several leaders to new roles on its executive team.

Eleze Armstrong was selected as CEO of Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, Calif., part of Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. 

HSHS St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill., has promoted Ashish Tokhi, MD, from interim to permanent chief physician executive.
