Dominick Pernice was appointed COO of Rockville Centre, N.Y.-based Catholic Health's St. Charles Hospital in Port Jefferson, N.Y.

Kevin Manemann, CEO of Renton, Wash.-based Providence's South Division, is leaving for a new role with City of Hope in Duarte, Calif. 

Columbus, Ga.-based Valley Healthcare System has named Asante Hilts, DrPH, its president and CEO, according to ABC affiliate WTVM. 

Kevin Slavin, president and CEO of Paterson, N.J.-based St. Joseph's Health, will retire at the end of 2023 after nine years in the role.

Mercy Health-Cincinnati has named Brian Gwyn president of its Cincinnati market, effective Feb. 6. 

Bismarck, N.D.-based CHI St. Alexius Health has tapped three new leaders, according to a news release shared with Becker's Jan. 10. 

The following hospital and health system CEO moves have been reported by Becker's since Jan. 4: 

Edward Rogalski, the administrator of two Genesis hospitals, has been named president of the board of trustees for the Princeton-based Illinois Critical Access Hospital Network. 

Just over a week into 2023, CEO exits are continuing to climb. 

Scott Oxley is stepping down as president of Northern Light Acadia Hospital in Bangor, Maine, and senior vice president of Brewer, Maine-based Northern Light Health.
