Mass General Brigham, an integrated academic health system based in Somerville, Mass., has named Mary Ellen Schopp chief human resources officer, according to a July 8 message to staff from MGB President and CEO Anne Klibanski, MD.

West Orange, N.J.-based RWJBarnabas Health has named Fernando (Ferd) Ferrer, MD, chief pediatric officer. 

Hot Springs, Ark.-based National Park Medical Center appointed Nichole Reed, MSN, RN, associate chief nursing officer, The Sentinel Record reported July 8.

Renton, Wash.-based Providence has appointed Justin Voelker as CFO for its Inland Northwest Washington service area, effective immediately. 

St. Johnsbury-based Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital's chief medical officer, Michael Rousse, MD, is retiring, ABC affiliate WCAX reported July 7.

San Francisco-based UCSF Health has named Andrew Fierro-Peretti chief accounting officer, according to a post on his LinkedIn page. 

Carson Smith was tapped as COO of Methodist Hospital in San Antonio, part of Methodist Healthcare System in San Antonio, effective Aug. 5.
