Blanchard Valley Health System has named Bihu Sandhir, MD, as its next chief medical officer, the Findlay, Ohio-based system said Aug. 1. 

Effective Aug. 5, Jesse Roque, MSN, will step into the chief nursing officer role at Riverside (Calif.) Community Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare. 

Amanda Shurtz, MSN, RN, was named interim CEO of Alta Vista Hospital in Las Vegas, N.M.

LaDonna Johnston, MSN, RN, has been named president and CEO of Unity Health after serving on an interim basis since January.
