Cleveland-based Sisters of Charity Health System has named Michael Goar president and CEO, effective July 22. Mr. Goar will succeed Jan Murphy, who is retiring. 

Christina (Tina) Johnson, MD, was named president of Dignity Health's Sacramento market in California.

Meadowbrook, Pa.-based Redeemer Health president and CEO Michael Laign has shared plans to retire, effective July 15, after 31 years as the health system's CEO.

Alejandro (Alex) Romero was selected as CEO of Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

Enid, Okla.-based St. Mary's Regional Medical Center has tapped Rex Van Meter as CEO, according to a June 17 LinkedIn post. 

Kissimmee-based HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, part of Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, has named Lori Merritt vice president of operations. 

On June 17, Yuri Pashchuk, MSN, RN, became the associate chief nursing officer of AdventHealth Palm Coast (Fla.) Parkway, a $167 million hospital that opened in August.
