KentuckyOne Health has announced it will build its headquarters in Louisville.

Richard Wright, vice president of development for King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services, announced he has resigned from his position, effective today, according to a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

L. Reuven Pasternak, MD, has served as CEO of Stony Brook (N.Y.) University Hospital since Sept. 1, 2012. He also serves as vice president for health systems of Stony Brook Medicine.

MemorialCare Health System in Fountain Valley, Calif., announced that it will be moving its headquarters to a 15-acre corporate campus in Costa Mesa, Calif.

Nancy Formella, RN, FACHE, has been named COO of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. She will join the hospital in mid-March.

Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del., has named Paul Minnick, MSN, executive vice president and COO.

Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla., has promoted Alex Mendez, CPA, to executive vice president of operations and CFO.

David Nelson has been named CFO of Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, Wis., and St. Joseph's Hospital in Chippewa Falls, Wis., both affiliates of Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System.

Jeff Barber, DrPH, president and CEO of Owensboro (Ky.) Medical Health System, has announced plans to retire in July.
