Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, Ill., tapped Ruth A. Colby to serve as president and CEO, effective Oct. 1.

Burlington-based University of Vermont Health Network appointed Stephen Leffler, MD, chief population health and quality officer. The position is the first senior leadership role created at the network since its inception in 2011.
