Oklahoma Hospital CEO Resigns to Head Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas

Scott Street, president and CEO of 148-bed Duncan (Okla.) Regional Hospital, has resigned to become president and CEO of Mercy Health System of Northwest Arkansas, which operates 161-bed Mercy Medical Center in Rogers, Ark., according to a report by the Duncan Banner.

Terry Snider, chairman of Duncan Regional’s board, said Mr. Street’s resignation was unexpected.

Last week, Mr. Street won the AHA’s Shirley Ann Munroe Leadership Award for small or rural hospital leaders, which highlighted his work expanding cancer and pediatric care, making imaging technology more accessible and adding nephrology and cardiology services at Duncan Regional.
