OHSU taps new CFO

Maulin Patel has been named executive vice president and CFO of Portland-based Oregon Health & Science University, according to an Aug. 31 news release.

He will succeed Jeff Jones, who has served as OHSU’s interim CFO since December 2025.

In his new role, Mr. Patel will provide strategic and financial counsel to the system’s president, executive leadership team and board of directors.

Mr. Patel has been with OHSU since 2011. Most recently, he served as senior vice president of finance and treasurer at the system.

“I’m excited to partner with leaders throughout the organization to advance a service-oriented finance model across our patient care, research, academic and outreach missions that is grounded in transparency, accountability and impact,” Mr. Patel said in the release.
