Even though Mr. Halfen’s retirement is more than a year away, the hospital has already begun a search to find his replacement or replacements, according to the report. The board has not yet decided if it will hire one or two people to replace Mr. Halfen, but it will use a, yet undetermined, recruitment agency to assist in the search.
