Mr. Jones first joined the health system in 1995, serving nine years as vice president of human resources, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. He eventually left to begin a medical supply distribution company and serve as vice president of UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland (Calif.), but returned to NorthBay as president of the hospital division in 2015.
Mr. Jones was promoted to president and CEO of the health system in 2017. NorthBay is his “home away from home,” he said in the news release, but he is stepping down for family reasons.
The health system will conduct a national search for a successor.
