North Dakota hospital taps chief clinical, operations officer

Turtle Lake, N.D.-based Northland Health Centers has named a new chief clinical and operations officer, human resources director and announced the retirement of its chief workforce officer, according to a Feb. 25 system news release.

Melissa McClintock was named chief clinical and operations officer. She will oversee clinical and operational functions throughout the organization. She most recently served as Northland’s medical director.

Julie Wagner was named human resource director. She will focus on strengthening workforce systems, recruiting and supporting staff and ensuring consistent HR practices. She previously served as director of operations at the system.

Kelly Murray retired as chief workforce officer after ten years. In the role, she led key initiatives that strengthened recruitment and brought talent to the system’s clinics and rural communities. “Her contributions have had a lasting impact on Northland’s ability to meet local healthcare needs, and her leadership will be sincerely missed,” the news release said.
