Pinehurst, N.C.-based FirstHealth of the Carolinas announced three leadership changes across its system.
Susan Beaty, MSN, RN, was promoted to chief nursing officer for the health system, according to an Oct. 2 system news release. She previously served as the first and only administrator and president of Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke in Raeford, N.C.
Matt Prestwood was promoted to president of Moore Regional Hospital-Hoke, effective Oct. 1. He previously served as vice president of operations for Moore Regional Hospital since 2022.
Catherine Hughes joined the system as vice president of operations for Moore Regional Hospital, effective Sept. 29. She most recently served as vice president of hospital operations at Sentara RMH in Harrisonburg, Va., where she led a 238-bed medical center.
