North Carolina hospital taps chief nursing officer

Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, W.Va., named Eric Flynn, BSN, RN, chief medical officer, effective June 21.

Mr. Flynn started his career in healthcare as a critical care nurse before working his way up to his most recent position as director of nursing, according to a June 1 hospital news release.

He succeeds longtime CNO Marsha Jamison, MSN, RN, who is retiring.
