Mr. Haughney also served as CFO of the healthcare facility. He resigned effective Oct. 1 but used vacation and personal time to leave early. Inter-Lakes Health CIO Lisa Busby, who has been with the facility for 11 years, will serve as interim CEO until the hospital board finds a permanent replacement.
Mr. Haughney served as CFO of Inter-Lakes since 2005 and CEO since 2008. He has worked for hospitals in Orange, Rockland and Sullivan counties, as well as the New York metropolitan area, serving in both CFO and CEO positions.
