New York Hospital Names CEO

University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y. has named John McCabe, MD, as its new CEO and senior vice president for clinical affairs, according to a report by The Post-Standard.

Dr. McCabe has served as interim CEO for the hospital since June.

Dr. McCabe has been with University Hospital and the SUNY Upstate Medical University for more than 20 years, serving as medical staff president, medical director, vice president and vice dean for clinical affairs and chair of the department of emergency medicine.
