Thomas Scott, president and CEO of CentraState Healthcare System in Freehold, N.J., will resign from his position to pursue other endeavors, according to a statement shared with Becker’s from Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health.
Mr. Scott has led CentraState Healthcare System, a partner of Atlantic Health, since April 2022. Before that, he served as the organization’s COO for seven years.
Atlantic Health said Maureen Schneider, PhD, RN, senior vice president and president of Atlantic Health Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, N.J., was selected as interim president and CEO of Atlantic Health CentraState Medical Center.
Mr. Scott will remain president and CEO of CentraState until May to support the leadership transition.
CentraState Healthcare System includes a 284-bed acute-care hospital, a health and wellness campus, two senior living communities, a charitable foundation and five satellite health pavilions.
